The Emergency Tech Show launches partnership with Police Digital Service and National Police Chiefs’ Council
In collaboration with the National Police Chiefs’ Council Digital, Data and Technology Coordination Committee (DDaTCC), The Emergency Tech Show (ETS) has confirmed a new partnership with Police Digital Service (PDS) for its next event, taking place between 16-17 September at the NEC Birmingham.
This partnership builds on a shared commitment between ETS, NPCC and Police Digital Service to support better collaboration between policing and the technology sector, to help find innovative solutions to the issues being faced most by policing and the public.
As a key event for the policing technology community and, as the event celebrates 20 years of bringing together the largest annual gathering of Emergency Services decision-makers anywhere in the UK – the ETS brings together policing stakeholders, technology leaders and specialists and frontline operational users to share best practise, source tech solutions and collaborate with suppliers.
This year, those in attendance will have the opportunity to explore real-world challenges and solutions, from critical communications and cloud infrastructure to data-driven decision-making, automation and AI.
As a close policing partner and in collaboration with DDaTCC, PDS will play a central role in shaping the agenda for this year’s event, supporting the development of strategic content focused on digital capabilities, data, infrastructure and innovation – all aligned with wider national policing priorities and the delivery of the National Policing Digital Strategy 2025-2030.
Further details on the agenda will be made available in the coming months.
“Technology is playing an increasingly central role in modern policing. This partnership with Police Digital Service, in collaboration with NPCC DDaTCC, is very important to ETS 2026 as it reflects both the strategic direction of policing and the practical realities of delivering digital change. We are united by our desire and ambition to make technology in policing better, to ultimately save more lives. This has been a vital partnership for the show for the last three years and I am thrilled to be working with the PDS team to deliver a bigger and better tech event for UK Policing in 2026.” Lianne Bailey, Sales Director, The Emergency Tech Show.
David Bailey, Head of Events and Brand Engagement added “The Police Digital Service is proud to continue and develop our support for the Emergency Tech Show as it provides a valuable opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across emergency services, law enforcement and the technology sector. Events like this directly support delivery of the National Police Chiefs’ Council National Digital Strategy by strengthening collaboration with the private sector and enabling officers and staff through effective use of digital technology. This event and partnership forms part of our wider commitment to open engagement, transparency and working together to improve digital services across policing.
We are looking forward to helping to highlight the amazing innovation and development in the police digital space which is focused on helping to keep our communities safe.”
