The NPCC’sNational Change Board (NCB) is commissioning the development of a National Digital Business Change Strategy (NBDCS). The NCB will own this strategy, to underpin the delivery of the overarching National Policing Digital Strategy. The NBDCS will provide a nationally agreed approach to managing technology enabled change across policing. The NCB has commissioned the Police Digital Service (PDS) to develop this new strategy.
This Strategy presents an opportunity to shape the future operating model of UK policing and aligns with national policing reform. It aims to ensure that the major investments made in digital, data and technology translate into real operational impact, increased productivity, and better public outcomes. The involvement of policing organisations across the UK will play a pivotal role in efforts to setting the key priorities and requirements for national, regional and local delivery of digital transformation.
By improving coordination and implementation of digital change, the strategy will help ensure that digital, data and technology investments are successfully adopted and embedded across policing.
