NATIONAL POLICING CYBER SECURITY STRATEGY
The National Policing Cyber Security Strategy aims to increase policing’s cyber resilience to ever increasing and complex, risks and threats. It sets out a three-year programme of work to support the evolution of cybersecurity in partnership with government and policing.
The Strategy was commissioned by the NPCC’s Digital, Data and Technology Coordination Committee (DDATCC), to the Police Digital Service’s (PDS’s) Cyber Services directorate. It supports the ambitions set out in relation to cyber and information security, by: the Government Cyber Security and National Policing Digital strategies.
The Strategy sets out a comprehensive programme of work to enhance policing’s cyber and information security. Safety, standards, skills and services are all aspects of this important work. This emphasises a significant commitment across government and partner agencies to ‘defend as one’ in responding to cyber security challenges and opportunities.
