In partnership with the National Police Technology Council, we organise an annual national Summit to bring the UK policing community together to learn from each other and discuss how technology can be used to enable transformational reform in policing.
The Police Digital Summit provides an opportunity for policing and industry suppliers to meet and discuss new requirements, issues and solutions.
The Police Digital Summit 2021 was held online, on 2 -4 February 2021.
Working towards a National Digital Policing Strategy
The National Digital Policing Strategy 2020-2030, launched in January 2020, emphasised that the pace of change has never been this fast, yet it will never be this slow again. Never more so than during the worldwide events of 2020 has technology been relied upon so heavily to help us adapt and revolutionise the way in which we interact, plan and deliver our services and enable workforces and the public to stay connected.
The Police Digital Summit 2021 focuses on the tangible delivery of the National Policing Digital Strategy, accelerated even more by recent events, citing content and examples of good practice from within policing across the strategy’s five key ambitions: Seamless Citizen Experience; Addressing Harm; Enabling Officers & Staff Through Digital; Embedding a Whole Public System Approach; and Empowering the Private Sector.
