Creating opportunities for digital engagement between children and young people and policing – Webinar
In our webinar on Wednesday 15th March, we will be joined by the National Your Police Instagram channel team, who will explain how they are helping forces with their ground breaking approach to using social media as an effective engagement channel between policing and young people.
The team, who are part of the National Digital Public Contact Programme, where established around four years ago, as part of the national policing social media project, with the aim of providing an effective and accessible digital channel specifically for younger members of our communities.
Based on detailed research with young people from across the country, a dedicated team was established with the skills to create content that would address the needs of young people and then enable real-time engagement on the channel at the times children were accessing it.
Often content is co-created with young people and is based on listening to concerns and questions and providing facts in an accessible way.
Join our webinar to learn more and see how your force could benefit from working with the team in the future.
