PDS Supports Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week
Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week is an important reminder of the scale of harm across the UK and why policing, partners and technology must keep pushing for better outcomes.
According to the Office of National Statistics’ (ONS) Crime Survey for England and Wales, in the year ending March 2025:
- 900,000 people experienced sexual assault.
- 4.2 million people experienced harassment and 1.4 million were victims of stalking, both often occurring together with sexual abuse.
- Police recorded 209,079 sexual offences, a rise of +11% year-on-year.
At PDS, we believe that stopping this epidemic is everyone’s business.
