The purpose of the session is to show how LECM can and is used to carry out a high-level evaluation and assessment of the current state of a force through a structured assessment of 7 high level police services matched to the capabilities used to deliver those services and to understand which change levers need to be ‘pulled’ to maximise change effort. We will show you how by doing this, and alongside a simple target state assessment, you can narrow down the changes you need to make to get to your desired outcomes quicker, more efficiently and hopefully with greater value for money.
LECM can and should help you to prioritise what you change and why. LECM does not tell you the specific answer, but it can and does lead to what needs to be changed so you can work out how you make the most effective changes in your force.
