People & Projects at PDS – Meet the Digital Case File’s Project Manager, Paul Eveleigh
Policing has traditionally sent prosecution case information to the Crown Prosecution Service (or CPS) on documents, initially paper versions and more latterly on electronic document templates.
The Digital Case File project will move policing from using these documents to completing structured pre-set data fields, much like the experience many of us have booking a flight or filling out a tax return. This will be achieved working jointly with policing and the CPS to develop a set of consistent specifications across all existing case management system suppliers to capture and share the required information.
DCF’s Project Manager, Paul Eveleigh, will explain how DCF will revolutionise case file processes within policing, improving quality, efficiency, user experience and disclosure procedures.
