Digital Forensics Programme

The Digital Forensics Programme is delivering a series of projects designed to enhance the adoption of digital forensics technology across UK policing. These initiatives are key to our broader strategy of modernising investigative practices and ensuring a consistent approach nationwide.

We’re working to accelerate cloud adoption in UK Policing, aiming to boost efficiency and security. Our efforts focus on improving national compliance and standardisation in Digital Forensics (DF), with the goal of increasing UKAS accreditation and enhancing the experience for victims and witnesses.

We’re also committed to building trust in DF services and improving resource efficiency.
