Webinar: Role based access control
The aim of this week’s Wednesday Webinar is to help forces progress with their IAM – (identity access management) journey.
We will explain how leveraging the enabling technology which was delivered as part of their National Enabling Programme delivery, understanding how to use the services more effectively.
This session will provide an overview of Role Based Access Control and how SailPoint IDN can be used to automate the ‘Movers’ process, improving the forces’ security position and reducing manual processes and effort.
There are huge benefits in ensuring Role Based Access Control is in place across the force or organisation. It helps to not only improve the security of data, but allows forces to leverage other capabilities of a range of business systems. It’s often a better user experience, enabling colleagues to have the tools and data they need without confusing them with access to capability they may not be trained to use effectively.
Also in enables the use of more effective targeting of specific users groups with communications and engagement activity that underpin both daily business and business change.

Some colleagues that joined our in-person event in Manchester in October will have seen some of this input. It was extremely popular and helpful to delegates, so we are bringing this subject to a wider audience using the webinar. As normal you can ask questions in the live Q&A and the recording will be available for sharing across forces afterwards.
