Wednesday Webinar – Improving users skills to support change and delivery
In this week’s webinar we are going back to basics. We want to ensure that everyone in the organisation or force has the basics of Microsoft 365 (M365) nailed.
We are really proud of the way these Wednesday Webinars highlight some of the fantastic innovation and advanced use cases that police forces have access to. However, to unlock all these fantastic opportunities, we need all our officers and staff to have a good understanding of the common tools.
Very few people in modern organisations are actually aware, let alone using much of the basic functionality, which is now available by default. The basic Microsoft 365 suite of tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, have changed a lot in the past few years.
So, with thousands of users in each force all with different levels of knowledge, skill and capability, it’s vital that we have a common minimum standard of knowledge and skill on the core tools, which will enable us to leverage the advances tools and automations which are becoming more common in policing.
We were joined by James Evans from Kent and Essex Police. James has been working collaboratively across police forces to improve everyone’s skills in using Microsoft 365. By leveraging the full potential of M365, he’s seen impressive gains in efficiency with minimal investment. Additionally, James has observed an increase in the adoption of modern work practices, potentially leading to even greater benefits and a higher return on investment for the entire Microsoft suite used by the police forces.
